Personally, I don’t really care about Anthony Weiner’s sex life one way or the other. And I don’t care if what he did hurt his wife. She had to have known he was an overbearing, preening narcissist when she married him. Heck, those were probably the qualities that attracted her to him in the first place. Well, this is what you get when you marry someone like that. What did she expect – a dutiful provider? Furthermore, unlike some of Ted Kennedy’s wilder escapades, Representative Weiner didn’t break the law or kill anybody.
However, to represent his constituents in Washington and to conduct the business of the state, a Congressman needs to maintain a certain level of honour and dignity. But as of this Monday, Representative Anthony Weiner couldn’t be any less dignified if he had a red nose and a seltzer bottle.
I disagree - he's a bad man, but not because he's a peter tweeter! He's a bad man because he's been working hard to foist all kinds of bad policies on the American public, most of whom has made it abundantly clear that they don't want any part of them.
Besides, all of the focus on the "Weinergate" jokes is a two-edged sword. For the time being, it keeps people's attention on Weiner and off other liberal miscreants. But in the long run, public scrutiny on Weiner and his now reportedly pregnant wife will result in people asking questions about Muslim influence on US politicians...and by that I particularly mean someone much higher in the pecking order than Weiner.

You almost have to wonder if he did this deliberately, just to take heat off of Barry Soetero. It certainly has gotten more air time than the ever worsening American economy.
